Found this video posted on Facebook yesterday and re-posted it hoping it would help someone out. Turns out it did…you never know who you are going to help until you follow through with something. 100 Days of Transformation

The weather is turning for the better for a bit for us…we “may” try and have a TECS WOD Thursday morning as long as the temp is above freezing (supposed to be 49 that day, just not sure of morning low)…so if you are interested in getting your run on, be watching for an announcement.

Sign-ups for the CrossFit Games Open begin on January 15th! More information will be posted, but in short, if interested in competing, one must register on his/her own (I believe there is a $10 fee through CFGames). We will host the judged competition at CFU on Friday evenings beginning at 6:30pm. Athletes will be briefed on standards and each athlete will be assigned a judge to watch for technique and count reps. We will run several heats depending on how many athletes we have. If you don’t think you can make the Rx division but would still like to compete in the scaled, we will be running one heat of the modified division. There is a sign-up for each category by the computer at the box…so Happy to see so many signed up ๐Ÿ˜‰

It really is a great community builder watching everyone compete AND it’s great fun as well; we usually have a little social time following the workouts. So anyways, if you want to sign up, do so otherwise just come and watch ๐Ÿ™‚

Items left at the box…if you forget something, most likely it will be put in the “burpee bin”…for the newbies, this means if you forget your stuff and want it back, 10 burpees will get your stuff back. Please try and remember to pick up after yourself; with the Mid-MO Fitness activities going on along with CFU, there’s a LOT to keep track of so please please please pick up after yourself. Thank you for your cooperation!

Two weeks into the new year…how are your fitness/nutrition goals going?? Remember PATIENCE! It won’t happen in two weeks…you just have to keep taking one day and WOD at a time!
