Yesterday I re-posted a quote from Dave Ramsey – “Every morning when you get up, you have the option to add things to this world or tear things down. Choose well.”

What can you do to make positive change in this world or your own personal life? Today I was going just going to head to the track and do a workout on my own, but knowing my headspace these days, I knew if I went into town to the box, I’d probably get a better workout because it would push me more. That it did…30 minutes with a partner (my niece) and I got some much needed barbell therapy! πŸ™‚

It was that choice that I made which helped with my own personal health, physical and mental that added to this world because now I feel much better. Have you ever fell into a rut where you just didn’t want to do anything?? I found myself in that rut this past week (though a migraine and vertigo contributed to it πŸ™ ); I lacked energy and motivation…I just wasn’t myself. Many of the members saw that and saw that I was human too! πŸ˜‰

How do you get yourself motivated? Do you choose to stay down and wallow in your sorrows or do you force yourself to just move for a little bit to pick yourself up? Do you choose the donut over a healthier option for breakfast? Do you choose to say “I’ll start on Monday” instead of doing something for yourself today? Too many of our choices rely on the motivation of how bad do we want it.

If you are wanting to get in the best shape of your life, then you’ve got to choose good nutrition and exercise…you won’t reach your goals if you’re making “50/50 choices” – don’t half ass your wants…go all in and see where it takes you!
