Who ordered this cold weather anyway?? Brrrrrr! Hope y’all are surviving it alright! I know you guys warm up after the first few minutes of class! 🙂
Be looking for the “Rowing Marathon” Signup Board…basically you can “purchase” a rowing spot for one of your friends from 7pm-8am on Jan. 31st-Feb. 1st. Each spot will be a donation of $2…so if Belinda wants to buy a spot for all of the trainers at midnight, she would pay $16 for the trainers to row for 30 minutes…IF the person can’t make that spot he/she can “buy their way out” for $2…You can only be put on the board a max of 5 times therefore either row for 2 1/2 hours or buy your way out. 🙂 This Rowing Marathon is a fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital and one of my former students who is a sophomore at Mizzou is one of the lead fundraising campaign persons for the charity.
We will have a box party that same night…will be an all-night PJ party if you want! BYOB and snacks! Hope lots of you plan on making an appearance either that evening or late into the night to help raise money for this awesome charity. I know we just had the “Kevin Ogar” benefit, but you just never know when people need help…Give More, Get More!
The FitAid recovery drink is literally flying out of the fridge! I just put in another order for the regular cans as we are about sold out. I do still have the GolferAid and PartyAid available; different taste and different ingredients. In the event that you don’t always have your money with you, I have punchcards available for $22/10 cans. Individual cans cost $2.50…they are NOT free! I am trusting that everyone is making their payment in the cup! I do have several who need to ante up on your IOU’s…
If you haven’t tried one for recovery, give it a shot as it truly does help with muscle soreness and recovery.
Mid-MO Fitness Open House is Saturday from 2-4pm…Free Batting Cages, Free Court Time, Free Golf Lanes! Spread the word!
